On the 1 of July 2018 a group of youngsters of the Samantha community got together at the Samantha Hall, Palakkad. The initiative was suggested to be named as Kerala Samantha Yuvajana Samiti. A working Committee formed from among 30 members nominated President, Secretary, Treasurer and other working members.

The Samantha Samajam Central Committee was decided to be the parent committee of the youth wing and they were informed of the same. The aims and intentions of the new committee shall be same as that of the central committee.

The main aim of the newly formed committee shall be to collect and digitally record the details of all the people under the Samantha Community. Also the permission is being sought for an official inauguration of the Kerala Samantha Yuvajana Samiti on the eve of World Samantha Day (Birth anniversary of Appu Nedungadi 11.10.2018).

The presently formed committee shall continue for the duration of one year and the information collected in the mean time shall be utilised to include more youngsters and to expand the activities of the committee to a better level. The present committee plans to fulfil the above mentioned aims oi and intentions.
